Sobat Kripto, pennant adalah continuation pattern very similar ke flag, tapi instead of parallel channel, pennant punya converging trend line (small triangle). Appear setelah strong move (flagpole atau staff). Smaller and shorter duration dari flag. Same trading concept: continuation of original trend direction.
vs Flag
Flag: parallel channel post flagpole. Pennant: converging triangle post staff. Both continuation patterns. Pennant biasanya shorter duration (1-2 weeks) dan smaller in price range dari flag. Both indicate brief pause sebelum trend continue. Sometimes hard to distinguish, doesn't matter much karena trade serupa.
Bullish Pennant
Sharp move up (staff), brief converging consolidation (pennant). Volume decline during pennant. Breakout above pennant resistance dengan volume spike: continuation up. Target: project staff length from breakout point. Common di crypto bull market sebagai mid-move pause.
Tips
Wait for volume confirmation at breakout. False breakout common, especially di crypto volatile market. Combine dengan multi-timeframe analysis: pennant di 4H dengan broader trend di daily lebih reliable. Stop loss: di opposite side of pennant. Risk-reward: pennant target usually 1:2 atau 1:3 ratio yang attractive.
