Sobat Kripto, flag adalah continuation pattern yang appear setelah strong move (flagpole). Flag itself adalah counter-trend consolidation berbentuk parallel channel. Bull flag (di uptrend): pole up + flag slope down. Bear flag (di downtrend): pole down + flag slope up. Continuation move target: same magnitude as flagpole.
Identifikasi
Flagpole: sharp directional move dengan volume tinggi. Flag: subsequent consolidation, lebih kecil amplitude, declining volume. Duration: usually short (1-3 weeks di daily chart). Trade: enter at breakout flag dengan volume confirmation, direction of original flagpole. Target: project flagpole length from breakout.
Bull Flag
Strong uptrend (flagpole), profit-taking consolidation slightly down or sideways (flag). Volume decline during flag (no fresh sellers). Breakout above flag resistance: continuation up. Common di crypto bull market saat short pause sebelum next leg up. High win rate kalau executed properly.
Bear Flag
Strong downtrend (pole), brief relief rally consolidation (flag). Volume decline during flag (sellers exhausted temporarily). Breakdown below flag support: continuation down. Common di bear market saat retracement rally fail. Trader pakai bear flag untuk add short position di pullback.
