Penjelasan
Sobat Kripto, EIP-4844 (Proto-Danksharding) adalah update Ethereum yang launching Dencun Hard Fork (13 Maret 2024). Introduce 'blob transaction' (data blob terpisah dari calldata regular) untuk L2 rollup post data Data Availability di Ethereum. Hasil: L2 gas fee turun 10-100x. Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, dll. langsung dapat manfaat. Foundation untuk full Danksharding (rencana 2026+).
Blob Transaction Mechanism
Sebelum EIP-4844: L2 post DA data sebagai calldata regular -> mahal ($2-10 per tx L2 saat congestion tinggi). Setelah EIP-4844: L2 post data sebagai 'blob' (KZG commitment, 128KB per blob, max 6 blob per block) -> jauh lebih murah per byte. Blob data hanya disimpan ~18 hari (cukup untuk fraud proof), tidak permanent di Ethereum state. Hasil: gas fee L2 turun ke $0.01-0.10 per tx.
Dampak ke L2 Economy
Post-EIP-4844 (Maret 2024), gas fee L2 turun drastis. Arbitrum gas $0.10 -> $0.01. Optimism gas $0.20 -> $0.02. Base gas $0.05 -> $0.005. User experience L2 mirip Solana (very cheap). Dampak: L2 jadi viable untuk mass-market dApp (gaming, social, micro-payment). Revenue L2 rollup turun (fee turun) tapi volume naik banyak.

EIP-4844 adalah update pivotal untuk skala Ethereum. Untuk Sobat Kripto: (1) L2 jauh lebih murah, makin tidak perlu di mainnet kecuali absolutely necessary, (2) mass-market dApp viable di L2, (3) Ethereum revenue (burn) bisa turun jika aktivitas migrate ke L2.
