Custom Weight
Pool 80/20 BTC/USDC: rebalance otomatis maintain ratio. Cocok untuk LP yang mau majority BTC exposure tapi some stablecoin untuk fee earning. Pool 8 asset bisa berfungsi sebagai index fund: deposit equally, get diversified portfolio yang otomatis rebalance dengan setiap trade.
Boosted Pools dan Linear Pools
Boosted Pool: idle assets di pool secara otomatis lent ke Aave atau Compound untuk extra yield. LP earn dari trading fee plus lending yield. Linear Pool: stable swap dengan focus pada asset 1:1 (aUSDC/USDC, stETH/ETH). Inovasi yang bikin Balancer capital efficient untuk specific use cases.
veBAL dan Aura
BAL holder bisa lock untuk veBAL (vote-escrowed) seperti Curve veCRV. Boost reward dan vote untuk emission. Aura Finance (mirror Convex untuk Curve) provide liquid wrapping veBAL untuk yield. Balancer kurang dominant dari Uniswap atau Curve dalam volume, tapi tetap penting untuk niche use case dengan custom weight.
