Chart pattern dengan converging trend line yang sinyal reversal atau continuation tergantung context.
Penjelasan
Sobat Kripto, wedge adalah chart pattern dengan dua converging trend line. Rising wedge (both lines slope up): typically bearish reversal di uptrend, atau bullish continuation kadang. Falling wedge (both slope down): typically bullish reversal di downtrend. Volume biasanya decline selama pattern formation, expand at breakout.
Rising Wedge
Bull market atau uptrend: price form higher high dan higher low, tapi narrowing. Resistance line steeper than support line bottom-up perspective. Momentum slowing meski masih make higher highs. Typically breakout ke downside (bearish reversal). Trade signal: short di breakdown below support line dengan volume confirmation.
Falling Wedge
Bear market atau downtrend: price form lower low dan lower high, tapi narrowing. Support line steeper than resistance line. Selling pressure decreasing. Typically breakout ke upside (bullish reversal). Trade signal: long di breakout above resistance line dengan volume confirmation.
Untuk Sobat Kripto
Wedge bisa terlihat di semua timeframe. Higher timeframe (daily, weekly) lebih reliable. Target price: distance from widest part of wedge, projected from breakout point. Stop loss: di opposite side of wedge. Risk: false breakout common, wait konfirmasi. Combine dengan RSI divergence (bearish RSI divergence di rising wedge = strong sinyal).
