Sobat Kripto, SMA adalah indikator paling fundamental di technical analysis. Calculate sum of closing prices selama N period, divide by N. Simple tapi powerful. SMA 200 daily adalah salah satu metric paling watched di finance: above SMA 200 = bullish trend, below = bearish. Foundation untuk many advanced indicator.
Cara Hitung
SMA 10: (price hari 1 + price hari 2 + ... + price hari 10) / 10. New day: drop earliest day, add latest day, recompute. Sangat smooth karena equal weight. Lag indicator: respond lebih lambat dari EMA ke price change. Trade-off: less false signal dari noise, tapi miss early reversal.
Common Periods
Short-term: SMA 10, 20 (intraday, swing). Medium: SMA 50 (medium-term trend). Long-term: SMA 100, 200 (major trend filter). SMA 200 weekly: very long-term institutional view. Adjust period sesuai timeframe dan strategy. Lebih long, lebih smooth, lebih lag.
