Sobat Kripto, Layer 3 (L3) adalah chain dibangun di atas L2 (yang dibangun di atas L1 Ethereum), specific untuk satu aplikasi atau use case (gaming, DEX, social media, dll.). Konsep: hyper-scaling dengan customization (app-specific chain tanpa shared blockspace concern). Implementasi: Arbitrum Orbit (L3 di Arbitrum), zkSync Hyperchain (L3 di zkSync Era), Optimism Superchain (lebih ke L2 sister chain), Polygon Supernets.
Why Layer 3
L1 Ethereum: shared blockspace, mahal saat congestion. L2 (Arbitrum, Optimism, Base): cheap tapi tetap shared antar dApp. L3: dedicated blockspace untuk 1 dApp - gas cost predictable (dApp bisa subsidize untuk user, gas-less UX), throughput tinggi (tidak compete dengan dApp lain). Cocok untuk gaming (butuh tx tinggi, gas-less untuk player), social (tx murah), DeFi specific (DEX dedicated chain).
