Sobat Kripto, Hedera bukan blockchain tradisional tapi pakai DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) bernama Hashgraph. Diluncurkan 2019. Governance oleh Hedera Council (Google, IBM, Boeing, dan enterprise lain). Throughput sangat tinggi dengan fee tetap sangat rendah ($0.0001 per transfer). HBAR untuk fee dan staking.
Hashgraph vs Blockchain
Blockchain: linear chain of blocks. Hashgraph: DAG di mana node 'gossip' transaction info ke peers. Faster consensus karena tidak block-based. Patent dari Leemon Baird (founder Hedera). Trade-off: lebih efficient tapi tidak as decentralized sebagai Ethereum (governance council model).
Enterprise Focus
Hedera Council: 39 anggota termasuk Google, IBM, Boeing, Avery Dennison, dll. Governance corporate-style untuk reliability dan compliance. Banyak project Hedera focus pada enterprise: tokenization, supply chain, identity. Bukan tipikal crypto degen ecosystem.
Use Case dan Posisi
Hedera Token Service (HTS): mint dan transfer token tanpa smart contract. Hedera Consensus Service (HCS): timestamping dan auditable log untuk enterprise. Hedera Smart Contract Service: EVM-compatible smart contract. Sobat Kripto: Hedera lebih relevant untuk enterprise use case dari speculative trading. HBAR price moderate volatility.
