Sobat Kripto, cup and handle adalah pattern bullish dari analisis teknikal klasik (William O'Neil). Berbentuk seperti cangkir teh: U shape (cup) followed by smaller dip (handle). Pattern indicate accumulation phase before continuation of uptrend. Breakout from handle resistance confirm bullish continuation dengan target measured from depth of cup.
Anatomi Pattern
Cup: U-shaped trough yang relatively shallow (10-30 persen dari peak). Membutuhkan 7+ weeks untuk form. Handle: smaller pullback (5-15 persen) di sebelah kanan cup, biasanya 1-4 weeks. Handle resistance: high point di sebelah kanan cup yang continuation, juga top of handle.
Konfirmasi
Breakout dari handle resistance dengan volume spike. Volume biasanya decline selama cup formation (akumulasi), spike at breakout. Untuk Sobat Kripto: tunggu close above resistance, bukan intraday spike yang reversed. Target price projection: depth of cup, added to breakout point.
